Do you feel like you’ve seen this post before? Keep reading to learn that Eric Lowery is yet again, our featured athlete of the month! In June, Eric was recognized for his extra efforts outside of class times working on skills, taking on clean eating and still managing to work a full time job and fulfill the job of husband and daddy! Now, he is being recognized again as October’s Sand Mountain CrossFit Athlete of the Month! Eric has really taken things to the next level over the last several weeks. He’s been completing his own separate strength program, adding in extra cardio sessions, and showing up consistently still-while being mindful of his diet! During the last month Eric has mastered toes to bar, set a PR of 58 unbroken double unders, and if you will zoom in on the PR board pic, you’ll see a long list of other PRs! At the beginning of the month he had three goals of maxes on bench press-225, back squat-275, and deadlift goal of 350, by being consistent and giving his all he has managed to crush those goals! His newest maxes on those movements are 230# bench press, 315# back squat, and 405# deadlift! We have no doubt they will continue to go up from here, because Eric is not slowing down! It’s truly inspiring to watch someone put their whole heart into their goals and see such awesome results. Thank you Eric, for being part of our gym family and most of all thank you for inspiring others and setting the bar for everyone else! You’re most deserving of your accomplishments! Congratulations!
